This is an elegant vintage peach and gold lamé beaded striped evening gown that was purchased at the Claire Dratch boutique in Washington, DC in the early 1990's.

This lovely silk dress has beautiful beadwork all along the neckline that extends down to the end of the waist and starts again near the hem. The top layer of silk is striped with thin gold lamé stripes going vertically down the dress. Each stripe alternates between smooth and raw matte silk. The bead work is all vertical, except for the neckline and there is a back slit. There are hooks and eyes and a metal zipper down the center back seam for closure.
